Page 3 Se ng up the TI-84 Calculator  Turn the calculator on o Press:  Turn the calculator oﬀ: o Press:  Set the mode for use: o Press: o Setup should look like the image to the right o Use the arrow keys to move around and set the mode the way you want.
Page 4 Tips for Using the TI-84 Plus  are your friends. They will get you out of most situa ons you don’t know how to get out of otherwise.  To break or interrupt an extended calcula on or program in a loop, press and hold for several seconds un l the error message [Break] appears on the screen.
